For already the second time this season, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever found themselves squaring off with the Atlanta Dream. Despite a rare off night from the star guard, she still managed to create an unforgettable moment with one young fan in the crowd.
When these teams first faced off on Tuesday, the Dream managed to narrowly escape with a one-point victory. The Fever did not let the rematch go to waste, as they walked out with an 81-76 win to split the mini-series.
Clark came out of the gates strong to start her second season in the WNBA, but that wasn't the case in this rematch with Atlanta. She finished with just 11 points on 4-for-11 shooting in 31 minutes of action. What was most noteworthy was that Clark failed to connect on any of her attempts from beyond the arc. This ended a nearly 150-game streak of at least one made three that stemmed all the way back to her time in college.
The Fever's aggressive offseason came up big for them in this one, as some of the new faces picked up Clark's slack in a big way. Natasha Howard delivered her best performance with her new team thus far, posting a team-high 26 points in just 29 minutes.
While walking through the tunnel after the game, Clark had an array of fans waiting for her with markers and things to sign. The Fever star ended up taking things up a notch, as she removed her sneakers and signed them before giving them to a young girl in the crowd.

Dating back to her time in college, Clark has become a massive mainstream star in the sports world. She's taken this fame in stride, constantly trying to be a good role model for all her fans. Moments like this are a testament to that, as she gave that girl a moment that she'll cherish forever.
As for Clark and the Fever, they've come out of the gates strong to start the 2025 campaign. Their 2-1 record is good for fifth place at the moment as they continue to try and emerge as a title contender.
