It's time to put Chicago Cubs centerfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong in the conversation for National League MVP.
It has been a breakout season for the 23-year-old, and he continued his stellar play on Friday with a multi-home-run game.
His first homer came in the top of the fourth inning to give Chicago its first two runs of the game and cut into the Cincinnati Reds' 4-0 lead.

Crow-Armstrong's second home run of the game came in the top of the seventh inning, and it was one of his biggest of the season.
He lifted a high fly ball down the right field line that barely stayed fair and gave the Cubs an 8-6 lead, their first of the game.

Crow-Armstrong now has 14 home runs this season and 45 RBIs, good for first in the NL and second in the MLB.
He has cemented himself as one of the best young players in the league and is certainly headed towards a starting spot in the 2025 All-Star game in Atlanta.
