Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout left no doubt on his first-inning home run against the Boston Red Sox on Monday night.
The three-time American League MVP blasted his 10th home run of the 2025 season over the Green Monster at Fenway Park, drilling Red Sox starting pitcher Richard Fitts' 95 mph four-seam fastball 454 feet to left field on a 3-1 count and giving the Angels a 5-0 lead.

The blast was Trout's first home run since returning to the Angels lineup on May 30. He missed a month with a knee injury.
Per Baseball Savant, it was Trout's fifth "no-doubt" home run this season, defined as long balls that would have left the field in all 30 MLB ballparks.

Excluding his monster home runs, Trout has gotten off to a choppy start this season after only playing 29 games in 2024 due to two torn meniscus injuries. He entered Monday with a .207/.282/.474 slash line but has been trending upward since returning to the lineup.
Including his first two at-bats against the Red Sox, Trout is 7-for-12 (.583) in 12 plate appearances over his last four games.
