The Texas Longhorns have to feel good about where they're at in the recruitment of four-star EDGE Dre Quinn out of Buford, Georgia.
Quinn is one of the top EDGE recruits in the country. The 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 26 player at the position nationally. He has offers from nearly 40 schools and from some of the best programs in the country, but he's trimmed his list down to two and he's ready to make a decision.
According to Hayes Fawcett of On3, Quinn is expecting to announce his commitment on Thursday. Despite having offers and high interest from places like Georgia, Tennessee and Notre Dame, this recruiting battle is going to come down to Clemson and Texas.

If recency bias means anything, this is great news for Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns.
Quinn just took an official visit to Austin and he raved about it afterward to Chad Simmons of On3.
“The visit was special,” he said. “Texas is definitely high on my list. Every time I’m there, it feels more like a place I could see myself. This visit showed me even more of what they’re about and it made an impact."
He mentioned getting to sit down with Sarkisian and defensive coordinator Pete Kwiatkowski to discuss his development.
"You can feel how serious they are about winning and building men, not just players," Quinn said.
Quinn did take an official visit to Clemson in late May, but this is a recruitment that's trending all Longhorns heading into decision day.
In fact, On3's prediction machine thinks there's a nearly 90% chance Quinn ends up at Texas.
We'll have to wait and see, but the Longhorns may want to start firing up the band.
