Caitlin Clark is feuding with another opponent this week.
The Indiana Fever sensation Clark got into it with Connecticut Sun guard Jacy Sheldon during Tuesday’s matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. In the second quarter of the contest with the Fever leading the Sun by a 24-23 margin, Sheldon started talking to Clark during a dead ball. That led to Clark expressing her strong disagreement with what Sheldon had just said to her.
Eventually, Clark gave Sheldon a light push away from her before players on both sides separated the two. Here is the video.

Internet lip-readers believed Clark was saying there to Sheldon, “I can do whatever the f–k I wanna do.”
Clark and Sheldon actually have history with one another. They were both part of the 2024 WNBA Draft class and used to be Big Ten rivals when Clark was at Iowa and Sheldon was at Ohio State. In fact, the two already had some heated on-court moments with each other during their respective college careers.

As for the WNBA, Clark often beefs with opponents as a result of the extra-physical defense that is usually played on her (as has occurred multiple times this year). But Clark’s prior history with Sheldon added another interesting layer to their heated in-game moment on Tuesday.
