Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr has found a way to mix family bonding time with work.
The Warriors announced on Thursday that Kerr's son, Nicholas Kerr, has been added to the team's coaching staff. The younger Kerr spent the last two seasons as the head coach of the Santa Cruz Warriors, which is Golden State's G League affiliate.

Nicholas Kerr, 32, has been with the Warriors organization for several years. He was an assistant coach with Santa Cruz prior to being promoted to head coach in 2023. The G League team went 20-14 in each of the last two seasons under Nicholas Kerr.
Before he joined the Santa Cruz coaching staff, Nicholas Kerr worked for three years in player development for the NBA's Warriors.
The younger Kerr also played basketball in college at San Diego and Cal.
The Warriors went 48-34 this season and lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference semifinals.
