Where the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoff picture sits after Pocono

Connor Zilisch scored his second win of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season at Pocono Raceway on Saturday, but the playoff bubble changed quite a bit behind him. With 10 races remaining in the Xfinity Series regular season, here's what the playoff picture looks like.

1. Justin Allgaier (three wins)

2. Austin Hill (three wins)

3. Connor Zilisch (two wins)

4. Sammy Smith (one win)

5. Jesse Love (one win)

6. Brandon Jones (one win)

7. Sam Mayer (+118)

8. Carson Kvapil (+42)

9. Jeb Burton (+24)

A solid 11th-place finish at Pocono keeps Burton above the cut line for another week. A drafting race at Atlanta on Friday is a great chance for Burton to snag a great points day, if not a win that would lock him into the postseason.

10. Sheldon Creed (+20)

A crash and subsequent 36th-place finish now has Creed in a spot that was once unthinkable — firmly on the bubble. Another crash at Atlanta could see Creed fall below the cut line.

11. Ryan Sieg (+18)

A fifth-place run at Pocono is exactly the kind of day Sieg needed in order to stay inside the playoff picture. Atlanta is a great chance for Sieg to potentially snag the first win of his career — and in front of a home crowd, no less.

12. Taylor Gray (+11)

A ninth-place finish at Pocono helped Gray gain 11 points on the cut line. The rookie driver is at an experience deficit compared to those around him, but these next 10 weeks will be an excellent litmus test as Gray grows as a driver.

13. Harrison Burton (-11)

A 14th-place finish at Pocono wasn't a bad day for the No. 25 team, but they need more than top-15 finishes if they're going to make the playoffs. Friday's race at Atlanta is crucial — the No. 25 team can't afford a DNF in a race they could have an opportunity to win.

14. Nick Sanchez (-26)

Sanchez finished 28th at Pocono, but managed to stay within striking distance of the bubble despite his less than stellar afternoon. Look for Sanchez to be aggressive at Atlanta if he has a shot at the win in the closing laps.

15. Christian Eckes (-55)

With 10 races left in the regular season, Eckes hasn't quite reached must-win territory yet. That's thanks in large part to a third-place finish at Pocono — more top-five runs will see Eckes only get closer to the cut line.

16. Daniel Dye (-75)

Dye has lost considerable ground to the cut line with a 31st-place finish at Pocono. Unlike his Kaulig Racing teammate in Eckes, Dye is encroaching on must-win territory, but a superspeedway race at Atlanta is an opportunity for the No. 10 team to get to victory lane.
