Larry Miles is a three-star wide receiver recruit from Orlando, Florida. He committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers earlier this week over the Kentucky Wildcats and Pittsburgh Panthers.
Miles took official visits to each of the three schools in June, and it was the Huskers that ultimately won out for his commitment.

While three-star recruits certainly don't get the hype or attention that their four- and five-star counterparts do, Miles is going to be coming into Lincoln with a chip on his shoulder.
In fact, when he announced his decision to commit to the Huskers, he also made a bold proclamation. Although he's high on the Nebraska staff, especially offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen, he also has a plan for his role with the Huskers.
"I'll be committing to Nebraska," Miles said as he announced his decision, according to Mike Schaefer of 247Sports. "I'm going there because of the people, the background behind the OC, Dana Holgorsen, the way they treat me, and I'm coming there to be the starter."
That's a bold claim for a three-star wideout who has not even played his senior season in high school yet, but there is some reason to believe that Miles can back up his confidence.
He had well over 40 offers at the time of his commitment. Programs like Miami, Florida State, Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, Ole Miss and Wisconsin, among many others, had offered Miles. He's garnered attention nationwide from a variety of schools, so he clearly has talent that goes beyond his three-star ranking.
He's also an intriguing slot and special-teams prospect at the college level, checking in at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds. He caught 68 passes for 1,204 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior while also adding a punt return for a touchdown. As a sophomore in 2023, he notched five touchdowns via the return game.
Miles may not be a starter right away as a freshman. Still, he has a skill set that could be valuable for Matt Rhule and the Huskers, so it will be interesting to see how he develops.
One thing is for sure, though, and that's the fact that this young man is confident in himself.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Miles is the No. 81 wideout in the 2026 class. He's Nebraska's 12th 2026 commitment.
