Bobby Witt showed off his athleticism with a great move on Thursday night.
Witt’s Kansas City Royals were tied with the Seattle Mariners 1-1 in the top of the 7th inning at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Wash. There were runners on second and third for Vinny Pasquantino, who hit a hard ground ball to the right side to drive in Jonathan India. Witt, who had been on second, tried to follow and score. The throw from Dominic Canzone had Witt beat, but Witt came up with a great slide to avoid the tag from catcher Cal Raleigh to score.

That was just a phenomenal slide by Witt, who knocked in the Royals’ first run of the game a batter prior. The 25-year-old shortstop is batting .289 with an .831 OPS this season. He also has 24 stolen bases.
How does that slide compare to the one we saw from Chase Meidroth?
