Which future Hall of Famer has Patrick Mahomes been chatting with this offseason?

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes has contacted, perhaps, the greatest quarterback ever heading into this upcoming season.

The Chiefs QB revealed he's been talking to Tom Brady "a good amount" this offseason in a Monday interview with FanDuel's "Up & Adams." So, what did the future Hall of Famer tell Mahomes?

"I've got to keep the secrets, you know?" Mahomes said. "But he always talks about being yourself. He thinks that — which I truly believe, too — is that guys can spot when you're not authentic, and you're not putting in the work. That's something he did every single day. That's why guys respected him so much."

Brady won seven Super Bowls and three league MVPs in 23 seasons with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the interview, FanDuel's Kay Adams mentioned Brady has said Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl champion, has the best chance of duplicating his legacy.

He indicated that the comment has motivated him, and he's thinking more about his legacy before turning 30 on Sept. 17.

"I think [legacy is] always in the back of your mind, even from the beginning of your career," Mahomes said. "But at the end of the day, it's about taking it a day [at a] time ... just continuing to do that. And that's something I've been conscious of, of knowing how blessed I am to be in Kansas City, to have all these great players around me."

Mahomes must win more Super Bowls to catch Brady, but he's in a good position to do that. As of Monday, ESPN's Football Power Index gives the Chiefs the second-best chance (10.3%) to win Super Bowl LX, behind the Philadelphia Eagles (10.9%).

The Chiefs lost to the Eagles, 40-22, in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans last season. Mahomes receiving and listening to advice from Brady could help the team rebound from the bitter loss.
