Known for his fancy gameday attire and his signature catchphrase of "row the boat,, Fleck has been a tremendous find for Minnesota ever since the Gophers poached him from Western Michigan in 2017.
He's gone 58-39 in eight seasons with a 6-0 record in bowl games. In this short time, he's already climbed the ranks of great Minnesota coaches. He's fifth in program history in overall wins and games coached and fourth in Big Ten wins.
Fleck has coached up eight All-Americans, and he's sent 19 players through the NFL Draft. Arguably, his most impressive alumnus is safety Antoine Winfield Jr., who was a first-team All-Pro in 2023 and helped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win the Super Bowl in his rookie season.
Again, while financial terms were not disclosed, it's worth noting that Fleck was expected to have a salary of $6.8 million in 2025.
