Connor Zilisch scored his fifth win of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, and the playoff bubble continued to change. Here's what the playoff picture looks like with five races remaining in the regular season.
1. Connor Zilisch (five wins)
2. Justin Allgaier (three wins)
3. Austin Hill (three wins)
4. Jesse Love (one win)
5. Brandon Jones (one win)
6. Sammy Smith (one win)
7. Nick Sanchez (one win)
8. Sam Mayer (+193)
Mayer sat on the pole, led 32 laps and won Stage 1 en route to a runner-up finish at Indianapolis on Saturday. He's yet to win a race this season, but his time is coming soon.
9. Carson Kvapil (+78)
Kvapil lost eight points to the cut line after a 30th-place finish on Saturday, but he's still in a good place in regard to the cut line. He should have a great shot at his first career win at Iowa on Aug. 2.
10. Sheldon Creed (+67)
Creed gained six points on the cut line after a 17th-place finish at Indianapolis. He's still looking for his first Xfinity Series win.
Eck11. Taylor Gray (+59)
3333Gray has nearly a race's worth of cushion over the cut line after he finished third at Indianapolis. Like Mayer, it seems like his first win of the year — and in his case, the first of his career — is coming sooner rather than later.
12. Jeb Burton (+10)
Burton gained three points on the cut line after a 15th-place finish at Indy. That's a decent day, but he needs more top-10s if he's going to keep extending his gap.
13. Harrison Burton (-10)
Burton lost three points to his cousin on the cut line after he scored zero stage points and finished 18th at Indianapolis. Like Jeb Burton, he needs top-10s if he's going to make the playoffs.
14. Ryan Sieg (-20)
A fifth-place effort at Indy helped Sieg gain 10 points on the cut line. Those are the days he'll need in order to get back to the postseason, though he'd ultimately prefer to score his first career win and lock himself in that way.
15. Dean Thompson (-57)
Thompson and everyone below him are encroaching on must-win territory, but he turned in an impressive 10th-place effort at Indy on Saturday. Things are looking up for the No. 26 team at the moment.
16. Christian Eckes (-69)
Eckes rebounded from early issues to finish 13th, but a win at Daytona is looking like his most likely path to the postseason.
