Kaulig Racing parts ways with NASCAR Xfinity Series driver

Kaulig Racing has made a major decision in regards to its NASCAR Xfinity Series driver lineup.

Josh Williams, who joined Kaulig as the driver of the No. 11 Chevrolet in 2024, parted ways with the team on Wednesday, opening a vacancy in the No. 11 car for the final 12 races of the 2025 Xfinity Series season.

The team announced that multiple drivers will pilot the No. 11 for the remainder of the season.

Williams, 31, came to Kaulig in 2024 after a stint with DGM Racing in which he consistently outperformed the equipment he was given. However, his tenure with Kaulig bore little fruit. In 54 starts with the team, he collected only six top-10 finishes and finished 2024 18th in the standings. Williams is 19th in the Xfinity Series standings through 21 races in 2025.

Kaulig has struggled as a whole in 2025, with none of its three Xfinity Series drivers currently on pace to make the Xfinity Series playoffs. Rookies Christian Eckes and Daniel Dye are 16th and 17th in the standings, respectively, with Williams in 19th. Kaulig is yet to win a race this season.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series' next race is scheduled for Aug. 2 at Iowa Speedway.
