One week after putting together one of the best performances of his NASCAR Cup Series career at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Bubba Wallace followed up his Brickyard 400 win with another inspired drive in the Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway.
Wallace was, at one point in Sunday's race, running two laps down in 36th after suffering a broken toe link. After the No. 23 team repaired his car, however, he was able to get back on the lead lap.
Before the race's final restart, Wallace came down pit road for fresh tires and a full tank of fuel — a luxury many drivers in the field didn't have over the race's final stint.
That led to Wallace mounting a furious charge in the closing laps, going from 32nd to sixth to earn his ninth top-10 finish of 2025 and move into the top 10 in the Cup Series points standings.

"We had an up and down day," Wallace told USA Network. "(I) was ready to debrief the whole car mid-race. (We) had our damages, had our issues, and just really fought hard to get back in the top-10. Here we are, P6."
Wallace is locked into the Cup Series playoffs by virtue of his win at Indianapolis, but extra playoff points are on the line over the final three races of the regular season.
