The major talking point around the NFL is the current rift between superstar pass-rusher Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys, more specifically, owner Jerry Jones.
Upset with the lack of a contract extension, Parsons requested a trade on social media on Friday, Aug. 1, taking the drama to a new level with just over a month until the Cowboys and Eagles kick off the 2025 regular season.
Dallas has been jointly practicing with the Los Angeles Rams to begin the week, which has sparked some rumors about Parsons being traded to L.A.
A photoshopped image of Parsons in a Rams jersey surfaced on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, and the comment section has left football fans buzzing.
Former Rams superstar pass-rusher Aaron Donald joined in on the fun, leaving a teaser comment that Parsons quickly responded to, raising plenty of eyebrows. Yahoo Sports shared the screenshots of their back-and-forth in a post on X.

Last year was Donald's first season away from football, having retired following the 2023 campaign, where he tallied eight sacks.
Donald was the league's most dominant defensive player for a large portion of his career, racking up double-digit sacks six times, including a massive 20.5-sack 2018 season.
The career-long Ram turned 34 years old in late May and could very well still be an impactful player at the NFL level if he so desired.
Meanwhile, Parsons still has his heels dug in, seeking a new contract from the Cowboys or a trade and a contract from someone else.
It remains unlikely that Dallas will move Parsons, as we've seen Jones get last-minute deals done for his star players many times in the past.
However, it's fun for fans to dream about Donald and Parsons lining up next to one another and terrorizing opposing quarterbacks. That goes without mentioning the young studs the Rams already have in pass-rusher Jared Verse and defensive end Kobie Turner.
The Rams do have the cap space ($19.452M) and draft capital, which includes two first-round picks in 2026, to potentially pull this off, though, so keep that in the back of your mind just in case.
