Corey Heim holds on to win wild NASCAR Truck Series race at Watkins Glen

In a race that seemed like it would never end, Corey Heim outlasted the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series field and won Friday's Mission 176 at Watkins Glen from the pole.

Despite a rash of late yellows and subsequent restarts, Heim, who led the most laps with 44, held off the snarling pack and earned his sixth win of the 2025 season.

Heim was pressured by Daniel Hemric on the final lap, but he didn't waver as he made his way around the New York road course for the final time. The win is Heim's fourth on a road course and the 17th of his Truck Series career.

"Just never give up," Heim told Fox Sports. "I was scratching and clawing trying to get back through the field. My brakes went out; I made a lot of mistakes (today). Big picture is the championship this year, and that's what we're going for."

Hemric, Gio Ruggiero, Christopher Bell and Tyler Ankrum rounded out the top-five, with Sammy Smith, Ty Majeski, Connor Zilisch, Matt Mills and Layne Riggs completing the top-10.

Other notable finishers include Jake Garcia in 15th, Brent Crews in 17th, Andres Perez in 21st, Chris Buescher in 22nd and Kyle Busch in 36th.

The Truck Series will conclude its regular season at Richmond Raceway on Aug. 15.
