Corey Heim wins NASCAR Truck Series regular-season finale at Richmond

On a night when he didn't have the most dominant truck, Corey Heim still found a way to win Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Richmond Raceway.

A late spin by race leader Ty Majeski opened the door for Heim to take advantage. Heim led the final 20 laps and scored his seventh victory of 2025, his first at Richmond and the 18th of his Truck Series career. At 23, Heim is the youngest driver in Truck Series history to reach 18 career victories.

"Obviously, the No. 98 was the best truck," Heim told Fox Sports. "We've had some get away on us this year; this is one that kind of redeems that."

Majeski finished runner-up, with Layne Riggs, Sammy Smith and Corey LaJoie rounding out the top-five. Gio Ruggiero, Jake Garcia, Ben Rhodes, Chandler Smith and Kaden Honeycutt completed the top-10.

Other notable finishers include Christian Eckes in 12th, Carson Kvapil in 15th, Rajah Caruth in 19th, Toni Breidinger in 24th and Matt Crafton in 26th.

Honeycutt and Garcia clinched the final two Truck Series playoff spot, with Rhodes and Ruggiero just missing out.

The Truck Series playoffs will begin at Darlington Raceway on Aug. 30, with the playoff opener going green shortly after noon ET on FS1.
