While Parker Kligerman won Friday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Daytona, the playoff cut line continued to move. Here's what the Xfinity Series playoff picture looks like with two races remaining in the regular season.
1. Connor Zilisch (seven wins)
2. Justin Allgaier (three wins)
3. Austin Hill ( three wins)
4. Sam Mayer (one win)
5. Jesse Love (one win)
6. Brandon Jones (one win)
7. Sammy Smith (one win)
8. Nick Sancheaz (one win)
9. Carson Kvapil (+119)
Kvapil is all but locked into the postseason with two races left in the regular season. The No. 1 team can focus on building playoff points over the next two weeks.
10. Sheldon Creed (+84)
Barring two disastrous races, Creed is also all but assured a postseason bid. He's still looking for his first career win, a nd Portland on Aug. 30 could be a perfect chance for him to get it.
11. Taylor Gray (+67)
Without two new winners, Gray has a great shot to make the playoffs in his rookie season. A top-10 run at Portland could sew up a spot for the No. 54 team.
12. Harrison Burton (+37)
Despite an early spin, Burton rallied to finish 15th and stay over a half-race above the cut line. Two more top-15 runs could be enough to lift AM Racing to the playoffs for the first time. r
13. Jeb Burton (-37)
Jeb Burton lost ground to his cousin on Friday. His path to the playoffs is now much harder, and it may take some wacky strategy and a surprise win for Burton to make the playoffs.
14. Ryan Sieg (-57)
A heartbreaking loss for Sieg at Daytona puts the No. 39 team in a difficult spot going into Portland. He'll likely need a win or two very good points days if he wants to chase a championship.
15. Dean Thompson (-73)
Thompson turned in a solid seventh-place effort on Friday, but didn't gain much ground on the cut line. He'll need a win at Portland or Gateway to make the playoffs.
16. Christian Eckes (-81)
Eckes and everyone below him are all but in must-win situations at this point. Things look bleak for the No. 16 team at this point, but Eckes is capable of competing for a win on any given weekend.
