A fourth-generation stock-car driver will make his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2017 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sept. 11.
On Monday, Bobby Dale Earnhardt, the grandson of seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt, announced that he would return to ARCA competition at the half-mile track.

Earnhardt is also the great-grandson of revered short-track racer Ralph Earnhardt and the son of former driver Kerry Earnhardt. Ralph Earnhardt won over 350 races across multiple divisions in his racing career, while Kerry Earnhardt made seven NASCAR Cup Series starts, 72 NASCAR Xfinity Series starts and 27 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts.
Bobby Dale Earnhardt is the nephew of NASCAR Hall of Famer and two-time Daytona 500 champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the older brother of Jeffrey Earnhardt, who has 76 Cup Series starts, 176 Xfinity Series starts, 11 Truck Series starts and 25 ARCA starts to his credit.
Bobby Dale Earnhardt, who turned 38 on Monday, last competed in the ARCA Menards Series in 2017 for Brian Kaltreider. Since his last ARCA start, he has made seven Xfinity Series starts, with a best finish of 28th at Phoenix in 2019 driving for Carl Long.
The Bush's Beans 200 at Bristol is slated for a 5:30 p.m. ET green flag on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. The race will be the 17th of the 2025 ARCA season.
