"Seven hours of commercial-free football" will no longer be the case on NFL RedZone.
On Wednesday, host Scott Hanson joined "The Pat McAfee Show" and revealed that, starting Sunday, RedZone will feature complete commercial breaks instead of the usual overlay ads.

It will be the first time the show has featured commercials since it began in 2009. The move comes after ESPN acquired the rights to the show in early August.
During the interview, Hanson revealed that his infamous introductory line will now be changed to "Seven hours of RedZone football starts now." He also mentioned that even with the commercials, the network would not be missing any good football.
"We’re not going to sacrifice any great football," Hanson said. "We will not miss a touchdown."
It is an abrupt change for the network that millions of NFL fans bond over weekly. Turning on the television and seeing Hanson for seven hours without any interruptions has become a Sunday staple.
Hanson will still host RedZone every Sunday, but the show will undergo a slight adjustment when the "Witching Hour" is interrupted by full-length commercial breaks.
