Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill's latest incident could fuel trade rumors

Throughout the offseason, rumors about wide receiver Tyreek Hill's future with the Miami Dolphins have been swirling.

Many have wondered if Hill wants to stay in Miami after he seemingly requested a trade following a Week 18 road loss to the New York Jets last season. It's easy to understand why he may not be happy playing for the Dolphins, especially after they capsized in the first half of Sunday's road game against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts jumped to a 20-0 first-half lead. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. Hill was visibly frustrated amid Miami's sloppy play.

Cameras caught Tyreek Hill losing his temper

CBS cameras caught Hill yelling at an assistant coach on the bench (h/t Ollie Connolly of The Guardian). Miami head coach Mike McDaniel appeared to be walking away, and it remains unclear whether he heard Hill.

Regardless, this isn't a good look for the Dolphins. The incident indicates Hill still isn't happy in Miami and could lead to more trade rumors. Pro Football Talk's X account suggested the WR could be traded back to the Kansas City Chiefs before the trade deadline on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. ET.

Hill, of course, played for the Chiefs from 2016-21, where he won a Super Bowl and made six of his eight Pro Bowls. Kansas City dealt him to Miami before the 2022 season. The Chiefs could certainly be interested in reuniting with the WR after they lost to the Los Angeles Chargers, 27-21, in Week 1 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The Dolphins must get their act together soon. Otherwise, Hill may grow even more frustrated in Miami and request a trade. The team can't afford to lose elite players after going 8-9 and missing the playoffs during the 2024 season.
