How Oklahoma had two big wins over Michigan within days of each other

Then ranked No. 18 in college football, the Oklahoma Sooners picked up a huge win this past weekend over the previously No. 15-ranked Michigan Wolverines. It was a huge, nationally televised contest under the bright lights of Memorial Stadium in Norman, and the Sooners walked away with an impressive 24-13 victory.

They earned a brand-new and shiny ranking heading into Week 3 (Oklahoma is now ranked No. 13 in the country), but the Sooners also picked up a big recruiting win, perhaps thanks to the win over the Wolverines on the field.

Oklahoma beat Michigan on the recruiting trail too

Many recruits were in attendance for the game, but one who decided to pull the trigger in the hours after the win was an elite 2027 wide receiver wideout named Demare Dezeurn. He took in the game as an unofficial visitor, and just a few days later, the four-star from Pacific Palisades, California, committed to Oklahoma.
