Micah Parsons is the kind of player that quarterbacks need to know where they’re lining up on every single snap, and Washington Commanders star Jayden Daniels is no exception ahead of the Packers’ Thursday night tilt.
Parsons had a quiet statistical Green Bay debut, logging one sack and one total tackle in a 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions but also posted two pressures in 30 total snaps against Jared Goff and an All-Pro offensive tackle in Penai Sewell.
Thursday night could be a potential playoff preview for Parsons’ Packers against Daniels’ Commanders.
Ahead of Thursday night’s game, Daniels has a clear message for Parsons and the Packers’ defense.
“You don’t let game-wreckers wreck the game,” Daniels told reporters on Tuesday. “You’ve got to keep an eye on him. He got paid a lot of money for a reason.”
Parsons will collect $120 million guaranteed by the time his time with the Packers is through, and after becoming the driving force for a signature win over the Lions to open the season, the All-Pro edge rusher has the chance to help Green Bay make a statement against a team and a quarterback that went to the doorstep of the Super Bowl, last season.
