On Tuesday night, the Indiana Fever played their first home WNBA playoff game since 2016 against the Atlanta Dream.
Injured superstar Caitlin Clark, who only played 13 games this season, made sure it was a special occasion for everyone inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse, even though she was not on the court.
According to Fieldhouse Files beat reporter Scott Agness, the 23-year-old gifted a pair of her player edition Kobe V Protro basketball shoes to the Fever ball kids who were working the game. The shoes, which are detailed with "Midnight Navy, Bright Crimson, vibrant hits of University Gold" to match Indiana's team colors, retail for $190 on Nike's website.

They are not the only lucky recipients of Clark's Kobes this year. She also hooked up the men's basketball team at Butler, where her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, is an assistant coach.

Perhaps her actions provided some good karma for the Fever, who won the game decisively. Despite being sidelined for the majority of the season, Clark has continued her tradition of signing pregame autographs at home and away games.
Her dedication to the fans showed in a road game against the Chicago Sky in July, when she refused security's attempts to make her end her autograph session early. Clark finished with averages of 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game when she was shut down for the remainder of the season on Sept. 4 due to a groin injury.
