Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens made a costly mistake during his team's game against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, and he did not take it lightly.
The Cowboys were trailing 31-14 and had the ball near midfield early in the fourth quarter of their loss to the Bears in Chicago. Dak Prescott rolled to his right on 1st-and-10 and delivered a perfectly thrown ball to Pickens, but the receiver could not bring it in.
The ball went off Pickens' hands and right into the arms of Bears linebacker Tremaine Edmunds for what was essentially a game-ending interception.

Pickens was understandably angry with himself over the mistake. The Cowboys were trailing by three scores at the time and needed points in order to have a chance to win. What looked like a promising drive ended with a turnover.
Shortly after the interception, Pickens was shown on the Cowboys' sideline slamming his helmet in frustration.

Pickens finished the game with five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, which is the exact same stat line he had in the Cowboys' Week 2 win over the New York Giants. Fellow star receiver CeeDee Lamb suffered a leg injury during Sunday's loss, so Pickens may be leaned on more heavily going forward.
