Noelvi Marte helped preserve a win for his Cincinnati Reds on Thursday with an awesome catch.
Marte’s Reds were leading the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1 in the top of the 9th inning and were looking to close things out. Bryan Reynolds was batting for Pittsburgh and sent a ball deep to right field. Marte leaped at the wall and made the catch to rob Reynolds of a home run.

What a great catch, and it came at a clutch moment in the game.
After Reynolds had his ball robbed by Marte, Andrew McCutchen flew out to right to end the game in Cincinnati’s favor. The win helped the Reds improve to 81-78, placing them a half-game behind the New York Mets for the final wild card spot in the National League.
The Reds shared a photo of Marte’s grab, which they described as “picture-perfect.”
