The victory ensures Jones a berth in the penultimate round of the Xfinity Series playoffs. The win is Jones' third at Kansas, his second of 2025 and the seventh of his Xfinity Series career. Joe Gibbs Racing has won 14 of the 19 Xfinity Series races at Kansas.
"That was exactly how we needed that to go down," Jones said on the CW telecast. "Two really solid stages and no mistakes. (The) entire day was just so well executed."
Runner-up Connor Zilisch and defending Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier also advanced to the Round of 8 on points and can rest easy at the Charlotte Roval next week.
Zilisch, Austin Hill, Sammy Smith and Sheldon Creed rounded out the top five, with Taylor Gray, Jesse Love, Nick Sanchez, Brenden Queen and Dean Thompson completing the top-10.
Other notable finishers include Allgaier in 13th, Carson Kvapil in 15th, Sam Mayer in 16th, Harrison Burton in 20th and Jeb Burton in 30th.
The Xfinity Series will return on Oct. 4 with the Round of 12 elimination race at the Charlotte Roval. The Blue Cross NC 250 will go green shortly after 5 p.m. ET, with coverage on the CW, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
