It'd be understandable if Bubba Wallace was frustrated with Denny Hamlin, given the way Sunday's Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway ended.
As Wallace and Hamlin raced for the win in the final corner, Hamlin made contact with Wallace, who made contact with the outside wall. That contact slowed both drivers down enough to allow Chase Elliott to sneak through and win the race.

While Hamlin still finished runner-up, Wallace was forced to settle for fifth on a day where a win would've changed the complexion of his season and ensured him a Round of 8 berth.
But Wallace — who is a Toyota teammate of Hamlin's and whose 23XI Racing Toyota is co-owned by Hamlin — didn't seem to be too upset with how things transpired on the final lap.
"Two years ago, I'd probably say something dumb, (like) 'he's a dumbass for that move, I don't care if he's my boss or not'," Wallace told USA Network. "But we're going for the win. Hate that we gave it to Chevrolet there.
I thought it was meant to be, and then it wasn't."
Wallace is now in a precarious position in regard to the playoff cut line. He'll enter the Round of 12 cut-off race at the Charlotte Roval 26 points below the cut line and in need of a big points day to advance.
