Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen had a heated postgame exchange with San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh. Coen told Salah to "keep my name out of your mouth."
Coen's comment came after Saleh alleged the Jaguars coaching staff looked for tells in a sophisticated sign-stealing operation.
Following the 49ers' 26-21 loss to the Jaguars at Levi's Stadium, the media asked Shanahan about the postgame interaction between Coen and Saleh.
Shanahan didn't think Coen should have been "sensitive" to Saleh's comment.
"I don't think he should be that sensitive about it, but it is what it is. Not too worried about it," Shanahan said via 49ers Webzone.

Shanahan added that he didn't think the controversy played any role in the 49ers' loss on Sunday.
"Yeah, we don't totally care if coaches are pissed off," Shanahan said. "I mean, that has no effect on a game. I think Saleh was paying him a big compliment for what they're good at doing. It's not illegal. He said nothing illegal about it.
"I think, when you use the word 'sign stealing,' and what headlines get with those type of words, then the perception of that becomes wrong. And I don't think that was the goal of what he wanted to do."
The 49ers outgained the Jaguars, 389-325, in total yards. Saleh's defense gave up 17 points in the second quarter but kept Coen's offense in check for the rest of the game. However, an 87-yard punt return touchdown by wide receiver Parker Washington in the third quarter was enough to keep Jacksonville ahead of San Francisco.
