Now that we're through one month of NFL action, the truth is starting to come out about fantasy football players around the league. Here's what we learned in Week 4:
You need to exercise patience if you draft rookies in fantasy drafts. After a quiet few games for some highly touted rookies, the breakout performances finally arrived in Week 4.
Ashton Jeanty, who scored only 25.7 total points in his first three games, exploded for 155 total yards and three touchdowns (33.5 PPR points) against the Chicago Bears in Week 4. Omarion Hampton rumbled for 165 total yards and 27.5 PPR points in his first game without Najee Harris. Quinshon Judkins scored 21.5 PPR points against the Detroit Lions. Woody Marks took over the Houston Texans backfield, turning 21 touches into 119 total yards, two touchdowns and 27.9 PPR points.
The time to buy low on rookie running backs is already gone.

If you snagged Nacua in your fantasy draft, congratulations. Through four games, the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver has an NFL record 42 catches and 503 yards. Nacua has scored only one receiving touchdown so far this season, and he's still the No. 1 PPR wide receiver by 15.1 points.
If you were thinking about trading Nacua, don't. He's the most valuable asset in fantasy football right now.
If you own A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith or Dallas Goedert, you have to come to terms that they're boom-or-bust options in fantasy football. Brown scored 22.9 PPR points in Week 3, but he also has two games with fewer than 3.0 points. Smith is off to a similar start with 20.0 points against the Rams and single-digit points in the other three. Goedert has 30.0 PPR points over his last two games, but that's only because three of his five catches in that span went for touchdowns.
If you choose to start any of these players, don't be surprised if they completely flop.
McConkey was going in the second or third round in fantasy drafts, but he's not going to pay off that steep price. Through four weeks, McConkey has scored only 8.4 PPR points per game and is the WR50 in total points scored. This doesn't look to be a fluke, either.
McConkey ranks 51st in the NFL in target share (19.6 percent). Keenan Allen (26.2 percent) and Quentin Johnston (22.4 percent) have been busier and more effective, and now Omarion Hampton is becoming a trusted weapon in the passing game. McConkey is closer to a flex play than a WR1 moving forward.
