In one of the most impressive drives of his young NASCAR career, Corey Heim rebounded from a Lap 1 crash to win Friday's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series playoff race at the Charlotte Roval.
Heim was involved in a Lap 1 incident, but stormed back through the pack. Heim was running second in the closing laps, but a caution flag forced leader Brent Crews to pit and gave Heim the lead.
Heim was cool, calm and collected on the final restart, driving away to score his 10th win of the season — a record for the most victories in a single Truck Series season.

Heim has also locked up his spot in the Championship 4 with the win, ensuring the final two Round of 8 races at Talladega and Martinsville can't hurt the No. 11 team.
"It was not easy," Heim told Fox Sports. "I think this was toughest one of the year so far. I thought we were done, honestly. Just an awesome day."
Crews, Gio Ruggiero, Rajah Caruth and Connor Zilisch rounded out the top five, with Josh Bilicki, Grant Enfinger, Ty Majeski, Tyler Ankrum and Connor Mosack completing the top 10.
Crews led the most laps of any driver with 55, while Honeycutt swept the stages.
The second race of the Truck Series Round of 8 will take place at Talladega Superspeedway on Oct. 17. The Love's RV Stop 225 will go green shortly after 4 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
