Heading into NFL Week 6, a few fantasy football traps are easy to stumble into. Here are five players who could let you down this week.
PPR projection: 12.5
It might be tempting to slide Flacco into your starting lineup now that he has wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins at his disposal, but fantasy owners should take the wait-and-see approach. Flacco ranks last among 34 qualified quarterbacks this season in success rate (35.4 percent) and 23rd in air yards per attempt (7.4). The 40-year-old is immobile in the pocket (50 rushing yards past five seasons), and Cincinnati's offensive line is one of the worst in the league.
PPR projection: 13.9
Henry has been a fantasy liability since his 29.2-point explosion in Week 1. Since then, the Baltimore Ravens RB has averaged 7.5 PPR points per game. He managed only 33 rushing yards on 15 carries in a 44-10 loss in Week 5 to the Houston Texans, and that lack of production will likely continue as long as QB Lamar Jackson is out with a hamstring injury. The Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore's Week 6 foe, have given up the third-fewest points to running backs this season.
PPR projection: 14.9
Denver is a black hole for WR1s because of reigning Defensive Player of the Year Patrick Surtain II. The star cornerback has held Chase, A.J. Brown, Michael Pittman Jr. and Calvin Ridley to fewer than 45 receiving yards each this season. It's almost impossible to bench the fifth-ranked WR in fantasy football, but don't be surprised if Wilson puts up a dud in Week 6. The Jets have the league's fifth-worst passing attack (175 YPG).
PPR projection: 10.8
Doubs looks like an enticing flex play in Week 6 after his 29.8-point game against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4, but don't expect him to replicate that performance. Three of Doubs' six catches went for touchdowns in that game. Before that, he averaged just 3.7 targets and 8.4 fantasy points per game. Green Bay has a ton of mouths to feed on offense, so Doubs likely won't have two big games in a row.
PPR projection: 8.9
Engram is coming off a season-high 13.3 fantasy points in Week 5, but that was only because of an 11-yard touchdown catch. The Denver Broncos tight end still hasn't surpassed 33 receiving yards in a game this season, so you're hoping for a touchdown for him to be worth a starting spot.
