Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes continue to roll on the 2026 recruiting trail. Day already has a top-10 recruiting class, and he and his staff just added to it with the addition of three-star cornerback Khmari Bing from Baltimore, Maryland.
Bing is a former Maryland commitment who received an offer from the Buckeyes this past September. He took an official visit to Ohio State early in October, and a few days later, he decommitted from the Terrapins. Ultimately, the chance to play for the Buckeyes defense was too much to pass up on, and the three-star went public with his commitment on Tuesday.
"They are dogs," Bing said of Ohio State, according to Brian Dohn of 247Sports. "They play hard football and they coach you. I was talking to my family and we thought this might be a great decision."

Bing had a hot start to his senior season in high school, which drew the attention of several big-time programs. Alongside Ohio State, he added offers from Alabama and Indiana in late August and early September.
He was planning on taking official visits to both of those programs in November, but those are off now that he's committed to the Buckeyes.
In the meantime, he'll undoubtedly be dreaming about his opportunity to impact Ohio State's defense, and it's worth noting that the staff is telling Bing that it could happen sooner rather than later.
"They tell me I will have a chance to come in and start as a freshman at safety," Bing said. "It means a lot that I can leave my name out there as a true freshman and hopefully become a freshman all-American."
According to the 247Sports Composite, Bing is the No. 78 cornerback in the nation.
