The Chicago Bears are one of the hottest teams in the NFL, winning their fourth straight game, 26-14, on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
The Bears received contributions from all three facets of the team. The offense did its job, scoring 12 of its 26 points on the ground, while kicker Jake Moody nailed all four of his field goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts and the defense stole the show by getting after Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Ranked as the 26th-best defense (369.4 yards) coming into the game against the 24th-best offense (305.3 yards), the Bears defense did its job against rookie head coach Kellen Moore and Rattler, who threw three interceptions.
The Bears didn’t stop there, forcing six incompletions and tallying four sacks. The four Bears sacks resulted in the Saints losing 24 yards.
Safety Jaquan Brisker and defensive end Montez Sweat had four quarterback hits and three tackles for losses combined. Sweat also forced a fumble, which resulted in a Bears recovery.

Firing on all cylinders, the Bears are playing their best football during a key stretch in their schedule. Next up, the Bears are set to play below-.500 teams in the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and the New York Giants, but things won't be easy across those three games.
The Ravens are currently on their bye week and could soon get Lamar Jackson back from injury. He's the key to their offense; the Ravens score 32.8 points a game when he’s playing and only 6.5 when he’s out.

The Bengals and Giants could also pose significant problems for the Bears. Cincinnati is coming off a solid win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, with quarterback Joe Flacco and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase leading them to victory, and the Giants have two rookies, quarterback Jaxson Dart and running back Cam Skattebo, emerging as stars.
