Former Manchester United star Roy Keane has suggested that the team has added goals this season, and that could make a huge difference for them as the season progresses.

Keane believes that Manchester United were lacking in goals last season, but the addition of players like Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko has added more cutting edge in the final third.

Manchester United have looked like scoring in most of their outings, and they are creating more opportunities compared to last season.

They picked up a 2-1 win away against Liverpool earlier today, and the fans will be delighted with the performance from the players. Manchester United managed to create multiple chances, and they could have easily scored more goals on another day.

Keane said on the BBC: “The team [Manchester United] does look like they have goals in this team. Last year they didn’t have that threat. There will be good vibes and it’s great to be successful, now you have to keep going and have a really good season. If they put in performances like that he [Ruben Amorim] will be here for three years.”

Can Man United build on the win over Liverpool?

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can build on the morale-boosting win over Liverpool and have a successful season this year. They finished in the bottom half of the league table last season, and Ruben Amorim was heavily criticised. The Portuguese manager has been dogmatic about his approach and philosophy. However, it seems that Manchester United are now starting to reap rewards.

A club of their stature should be fighting for a place in the top four and doing well in the cup competitions. The win over Liverpool will give them a huge confidence boost, and it remains to be seen whether they can build on it.
