After consecutive losses for the Philadelphia Eagles, Sunday needed to be a bounce-back performance for the sake of team's confidence.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts took that responsibility upon himself and had what may have been the best passing performance of his career.
Hurts went 19-of-23 for 326 yards and three touchdowns. Those stats were good enough to give him a 158.3 QBR, otherwise known as a perfect rating.
The perfect QBR from Hurts on Sunday was the first in the NFL this season and just the third in Eagles franchise history, joining Donovan McNabb and Nick Foles.

While the near perfect day from Hurts was stellar, the performances from his top two receivers should not be overlooked.
A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined to collect 13 catches for 304 yards and three touchdowns. Smith went for 183 of those 304 yards, a career high for him.
Their performances Sunday proved why they are among the top wide receiver duos in the NFL and were just what Eagles fans have been hoping to see amid an unsteady start to the season.
Philadelphia will now enter a tougher part of its schedule that begins next week against the New York Giants. After that, the Eagles have games against the Packers, Lions, Cowboys, Bears and Chargers.
With performances even remotely close to what Hurts did on Sunday, Philadelphia may be on cruise control through the remainder of the season.
