One trend in particular is becoming very apparent for the Green Bay Packers: When Jordan Love is off his game, the Packers are in trouble.
Green Bay's 10-7 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field on Monday evening was a sloppy, defensive struggle of a contest that saw Jalen Hurts and the Eagles land one offensive haymaker too many on the Packers — a 36-yard touchdown toss to DeVonta Smith.
Love meanwhile, completed 20 of his 36 pass attempts for only 176 yards, a mark of 4.9 yards per attempt. Green Bay finally got into the end zone in the fourth quarter, but Love couldn't put together a go-ahead drive when given the opportunity in the game's waning moments.
Love also lost a fumble in the waning moments of the first half when Green Bay was in field goal range and could've put the first points of the game on the board before halftime.

A week after a shocking 16-13 loss at the hands of the Carolina Panthers, another offensive dud from Green Bay gave the Packers their first back-to-back home losses since 2013.
It's no secret that good quarterback play usually results in better outcomes for any football team. To Love's credit, when he's been good in 2025, he's looked like an elite quarterback.
In each of Green Bay's three losses, however, the story hasn't been the same. Love has combined for one touchdown pass, one interception and 632 passing yards in Green Bay's three losses this season.
In the Packers' other six games — including a 40-40 tie against the Dallas Cowboys — Love has thrown for 12 touchdowns, two interceptions and 1,439 yards, a stark contrast in performance.
Much credit should be given to a Philadelphia defense that locked down the Packers on Monday evening, but after two consecutive losses and relatively poor performances from Love, Green Bay's offense will be searching for answers ahead of its Sunday road tussle with the New York Giants.
Green Bay holds the provisional No. 7 seed in the NFC playoff picture after Monday's loss, but with such a thin margin of error in regard to the postseason outlook, the Packers need Love to be at his best over the second half of 2025.
