The Florida Panthers wouldn't be back-to-back Stanley Cup champions without Sergei Bobrovsky, and they also wouldn't have won on Thursday night without the Russian net minder.
Picking up his 10th win of the season, Bobrovsky stood on his proverbial head all night long as the Panthers skated by the New Jersey Devils, 1-0.
Bobrovsky, 37, saved all 31 pucks sent his way against the Devils, who entered the game as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
The shutout was not only Bobrovsky's second of the season and first since blanking the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 back on Oct. 25, but he now has 51 in his career.

Bobrovsky's performance against New Jersey also allowed him to rebound following a rough outing in his last start against Vancouver on Monday. Florida managed to win that game thanks to its offense picking up Bobrovsky, who allowed a struggling Canucks team to score five goals on just 15 shots.
"You're not going to have a shutout without the teammates in front of you," said Bobrovsky after the game.
Bobrovsky's career shutout total moves him ahead of former Detroit Red Wings star Chris Osgood into a tie with four other goalies for 28th in league history.
The two-time Vezina Trophy winner as the NHL's top goaltender now holds a 2.80 goals-against average and an .893 save percentage, proving he's still among the league's best.
Thanks to Bobrovsky's shutout, the reigning two-time champion Panthers are 11-8-1 with 23 points.
Next up for the future Hall of Famer and his team of champions is a matchup with a very familiar foe, Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers, the team Bobrovsky and Florida defeated in consecutive highly contested Stanley Cup Final series.
