San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings took a shot no football player expects to. Tre’von Moehrig of the Carolina Panthers got him below the belt as the game ended. A mini-brawl then began, with Jennings shoving him back and getting heated.

When speaking with the media after the game, Jennings gave his side of the story. He believes the move from Moehrig was “childish” and, obviously, not something he was too fond of. And instead of breaking down the moment, television replays are going to do the talking for Jennings.

“The TV is going to tell you what happened, man,” Jennings said. “I was just responding, to me, to some childish behavior.”

Jennings then ended his media session by saying, “Have a good night. Don’t get hit in the nuts.”

Exactly why this happened is not known. There does not appear to be any kind of rivalry between the two players, even dating back to college days. Jennings played at Tennessee and got drafted all the way back in 2020, while Moehrig came out the following year after a successful career at TCU.

“Pushed him in the back, that’s it,” Moehrig said, looking at his side. “… Not much to it. … He wanted to do a little dirty stuff.”
