The Dallas Cowboys have found another star. When the Pittsburgh Steelers traded wide receiver George Pickens to Dallas in May, he was seen as the Robin to All-Pro WR CeeDee Lamb's Batman. However, Pickens may have been the better player this season.
Besides being healthy, he has delivered some standout performances and repeatedly stepped in to support the passing game, which is why Cowboys owner/GM Jerry Jones has had enough of the speculation. During his weekly appearance on 105.3 The Fan, he basically confirmed that Dallas will ensure Pickens is brought back in free agency.
"We have two No. 1 receivers," Jones said, per Jon Machota of The Athletic. "There's nothing we can gain from speculating (about his contract today). The bottom line is we're in good shape. He's playing better than we ever could have anticipated. He's an outstanding teammate."
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on @1053thefan said he doesn't see Dallas WR George Pickens playing for any other team next season.

Pickens was the man of the hour in the 24-21 comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12. He finished Sunday's game with nine receptions on as many targets for 146 yards and one touchdown. That took his season total to 67 receptions on 92 targets for 1,054 yards and eight scores, dropping only two passes.
While there will always be some concerns about his antics and character, so far, the 24-year-old has brought plenty of energy both on and off the field. Pickens seems happy to be in Dallas, and he's become quarterback Dak Prescott's most reliable target. Now, it's just about signing a new deal.
