Life in the NFL can be cruel, and Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders found that out first-hand on Sunday.
One week after Sanders threw for 364 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-29 loss to the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland's offense came grinding to a halt in the Windy City on Sunday.
Sanders threw for only 177 yards while tossing three interceptions in Cleveland's 31-3 loss to the Bears on Sunday.
It was the worst start of Sanders' career in regard to completion percentage (51.4 percent), yards per attempt (5.1), passer rating (30.3), touchdown passes (zero) and interceptions (three).

Not since he was thrown to the wolves in the second half of Cleveland's loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 16 had Sanders looked so much like a deer in the headlights.
Unfortunately for Sanders, his rookie season won't get any easier over the final three weeks of the regular season.
The Browns will host the Bills and Steelers before traveling to Cincinnati in Week 18 to close the regular season against an AFC North rival.
Sanders has shown flashes of greatness in his rookie season, but consistency will need to be a point of emphasis for the young quarterback moving forward.
