Packers' Micah Parsons suffers non-contact injury vs. Broncos

After Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson suffered a chest injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, another star suffered an injury that could majorly affect the Packers' season.

Late in the third quarter of Sunday's contest, Green Bay linebacker Micah Parsons went down with a non-contact injury while trying to chase down Broncos QB Bo Nix.

Parsons stayed down after the play while wincing in pain as medical staff attended to him.

A few minutes later, Parsons went back to the locker room under his own power.

A few plays later, Nix threw a touchdown pass to give Denver a 27-23 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Micah Parsons not the only star to go down Sunday

Parsons is not the only league superstar to suffer a major injury on Sunday. While the aforementioned injury to Watson could be a huge setback for the Packers offense, the Kansas City Chiefs also saw one of their biggest stars go down with what could be a similar injury to Parsons.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes went down late in the fourth quarter of Kansas City's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. That loss knocked Kansas City out of the playoffs.

Green Bay isn't in any danger of missing the postseason, but if Parsons is out for an extended period of time, it could have a major impact on the Packers' playoff seeding and their playoff run itself.
