Los Angeles Rams star Puka Nacua has made the rounds way too often this week.
First, he stole the headlines for criticizing NFL referees.
Now, his brother, Samson Nacua, is also in the news for allegedly stealing Los Angeles Lakers rookie Adou Thiero's car, according to NBC Sports Los Angeles.
“Two men, including the brother of Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, were arrested over the weekend after allegedly taking Los Angeles Lakers forward Adou Thiero’s SUV without his consent, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department," the report read. "The suspects arrested in the case were identified as 27-year-old Trey Rose and 27-year-old Samson Nacua, who is the brother of the Rams' Puka Nacua. Both men face a charge of taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent and remain behind bars."
Samson, a fellow wide receiver, went undrafted in 2022 after stints at Utah and BYU.
He's been with the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints' practice squads while also playing with the Pittsburgh Maulers and Michigan Panthers of the USFL.
It has been a rocky couple of days for Puka Nacua's P.R. team, and he'll have to put on a show against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night to change the discourse pretty quickly.
