Ravens QB Lamar Jackson exits game vs. Patriots with injury

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been a regular on the team's injury report this season and has already missed significant time. That does not seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Ravens QB Lamar Jackson knocked out of game

Jackson had to leave Sunday's game against the New England Patriots late in the second quarter with a back injury.

Jackson appeared to take a knee to the back on a run and was immediately receiving medical treatment on the sidelines. He did not return to the game and was eventually ruled out mid-way through the third quarter.

He was replaced by backup Tyler Huntley

It is a serious concern for the Ravens as they try to come back in the AFC North. They pretty much need to win out, including a Week 18 game at the Pittsburgh Steelers. With a Week 17 game on the road at the Green Bay Packers in between, it is going to be a tall task even with a healthy Jackson. If Jackson is less than 100 percent, or perhaps even not able to play, that is going to make it even more difficult.

Huntley has played significant time for the Ravens over the years due to Jackson's injuries, but they are only 4-6 in games he has started. They are 1-0 with him this season. The Ravens were 0-2 in games started by Cooper Rush before his season-ending injury.
