Texas A&M WR KC Concepcion makes NFL Draft decision

One of the most explosive wide receivers in college football will try to make a name for himself in the NFL. That would be KC Concepcion of the Texas A&M Aggies.

After an extremely disappointing Texas A&M defeat at the hands of the Miami Hurricanes in the first round of the College Football Playoffs, Concepcion has decided that his next move will be entering the 2026 NFL Draft.

This is according to Hayes Fawcett of On3, who reported the news on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

A 5-foot-11, 190-pound junior from Charlotte, North Carolina, Concepcion caught 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns this season for the Aggies.

Concepcion was unsure, at least publicly, about his future at Texas A&M before the Aggies' 10-3 loss to Miami on Saturday.

"I have not made a decision yet," Concepcion said during a news conference. "Talking with my coaches, talking with my parents. We're going to put our trust in God. Whatever He has in store for my future, we're going to go like that."

Texas A&M's KC Concepcion could be a first-rounder in 2026 NFL Draft

Who knows if the loss to Miami played into the star wide receiver's decision, but it's worth noting that Texas A&M's offense was able to muster up only 237 passing yards as a whole. For his part, Concepcion caught four passes for 33 yards.

Concepcion started his college career at NC State, where he came in as a three-star wide receiver.

In three collegiate seasons, he caught 185 passes for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing 70 times for 431 yards and three touchdowns.

He was considered a first-round pick in a recent NFL mock draft by CBS Sports.
