Steelers fans crediting priest's holy water for Tyler Loop's missed kick

A missed field goal on Sunday night made some Pittsburgh Steelers fans true believers in a higher power.

The Steelers looked like they were about to have their season come to an end in the final seconds of their regular-season finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

With a playoff berth on the line, Ravens kicker Tyler Loop lined up for what would have been a playoff-clinching kick for Baltimore. But the attempt went wide right, sending Steelers players and fans into pandemonium at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

It was an answered prayer for Steelers supporters. Many half-jokingly claimed it was thanks to a priest blessing the field before the game. Hours before kickoff, the clergyman showered holy water onto one of the end zones.

The end zone that the priest blessed happened to be the same one where Loop ended up missing his kick.
