Snoop Dogg was on call for Steve Kerr’s ejection vs. Clippers

During the fourth quarter of Monday night’s ClippersWarriors game, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr exited the party early after arguing a no-call on what he thought should have been a goaltend against the Clippers.

Kerr’s exit is when the weeknight party turned into a banger. That’s because Snoop Dogg was in the booth for a brief appearance on the broadcast when Kerr got tossed. And Snoop delivered. Because, well, Snoop always delivers.

Snoop Dogg calls Steve Kerr's ejection

"Steve gonna get thrown out! Get him out of there," an excited Snoop told viewers on the Peacock broadcast. "Get him out of there!"

As Kerr was being held back by an assistant coach and Warriors wing Gary Payton II, Snoop leveled up the enthusiasm.

"Back him up GP!" shouted Snoop. "Steve back in Inglewood right now! Inglewooooood!"

Snoop, easily the most entertaining part of an early January Clippers game, then referenced the Arizona Wildcat (Kerr’s college) coming out of the coach to begin barking. As Kerr made his way to the locker room, he did some expletive-filled barking of his own toward the officials, of which Snoop approved, uttering a quick "That’s right, Steve."

An NBA broadcast hasn’t been this entertaining since the legendary Bill Walton was on the mic. More Snoop. Less of everyone else. And the occasional ejection doesn’t hurt, either.

Kerr’s ejection, narrated by Snoop Dogg, was about the only thing Golden State had to get excited about. Its party ended with a 103–102 road loss.

Maybe the Warriors win that game if Kerr was on the bench late. And in that case, next time a perceived bad call ruins his party, he should drop it like it’s hot to avoid another early exit.
