Standouts from Day 2 of 2026 Senior Bowl

Day 2 of the Senior Bowl featured explosive plays, intense competition and draft risers. Here, we highlight five standout prospects.

Senior Bowl standouts from Day 2

Texas Tech  LB Jacob Rodriguez

If he had nothing else, Jacob Rodriguez would still be drafted for his leadership ability alone.

Wednesday, he continued to display his ability to force turnovers and react quickly to underneath routes.

Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green

A team is going to draft Taylen Green and will have to opportunity to develop him into something dynamic. On Wednesday, he displayed his next-level arm strength, hitting Malachi Fields with solid ball placement. He also flashed pocket mobility and the ability to step up and separate from the defense, thanks to his good foot speed.

Michigan  EDGE Derrick Moore

Derrick Moore continues to shine this week and has been one of the top performers in attendance. He's quick off the snap and has been attacking offensive tackles' weaknesses. He'll rise up draft boards.

Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields

Malachi Fields displayed his controlled route-running, with no wasted motion. His top moment was his reception from Taylen Green off a deep post. He showcased good burst and change of direction off his plant foot to create separation, and he could go full extension for the football.

John Carroll wide receiver Tyren Montgomery

The Division III wide receiver flashed his jump-ball ability on Wednesday. Tyren Montgomery had an impressive "Moss" type of catch over Chris Johnson. He will also rise up draft boards due to his potential and developmental skill set. Overall, he has good body control and hand-eye coordination to adjust mid-route.

Colton Edwards

Colton Edwards graduated from the United States Sports University in 2023. He brings three years and counting of college football personnel experience (Tennessee Tech 2024-2025 and currently at Western Michigan).
