Patriots' Robert Kraft makes bold claim after Kendall Jenner picks Super Bowl LX winner

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft believes the dreaded "Kardashian Curse" won't doom his team in Super Bowl LX.

On "The Tonight Show" Wednesday, Jimmy Fallon asked Kendall Jenner who would win Super Bowl LX between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. The 30-year-old reality TV star then FaceTimed former Patriots QB Tom Brady, who convinced her to pick New England.

That may have left some superstitious fans in shambles. The "Kardashian Curse" is an internet theory that individuals who are linked to the family (usually romantically) experience bad luck. Kendall Jenner poked fun at this idea in a recent ad for Fanatics Sportsbook. Kraft thinks it's all a bunch of malarkey.

Robert Kraft addresses concerns about "Kardashian Curse"

"Kendall, I just heard you put your money on us to win the big game, and you know what? I don't believe that thing about the 'Kardashian Curse,'" Kraft said on X Thursday. "We've been underdogs plenty of times, and we've done OK. Let's do it together."

The Patriots have gone 6-3 in Super Bowls in 32 seasons under Kraft. However, should he be as confident this time around?

Why the Patriots may lose Super Bowl LX

There are actual football reasons to believe the Patriots will lose to the Seahawks in the big game, scheduled Feb. 8 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. (6:30 p.m. ET, NBC/Peacock).

Seattle's ball-hawking defense — which features safety Nick Emmanwori, a 2025 Defensive Rookie of the Year finalist — ranks first in the NFL in points allowed (17.1)  and seventh in yards allowed (293.2).

Patriots second-year QB Drake Maye — a 2025 MVP finalist — hasn't looked as sharp in the postseason. Through three playoff games, the 23-year-old passer has completed 43-of-77 attempts (55.8 percent, below average) for 533 yards, four touchdown passes and two interceptions, posting a subpar 84 passer rating.

"We'll have to get a lot of things corrected, and we'll have to play our best football game in two weeks if we want to finish as champions," Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel told the media Tuesday.

As of Thursday, DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Seahawks as a 4.5-point favorite. Perhaps Kraft should bring a four-leaf clover to the big game. The Patriots need some luck to pull off the upset and break any feared curses.
