Oregon Ducks land Colorado RB transfer Simeon Price

Simeon Price has a ton of potential as a college running back. The issue is, he just hasn't had a great chance to show it.

It's been a winding road for Price, and he's dealt with some setbacks, but he's got to be hoping that some fresh scenery for one final go-around at the college level will unlock his true talents.

It doesn't hurt being coached by Dan Lanning, one of the best offensive minds in football.

Undoutedbly that's one of the main reasons Price committed to the Oregon Ducks via the transfer portal on Thursday.

From Pensacola, Florida, Price is a former 3-star athlete recruit who committed to Mississippi State out of high school.

He played in 25 games across three seasons for the Bulldogs, totaling just 191 yards on 35 carries while adding 15 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown through the air.

Price transferred to Coastal Carolina for the 2024 college football season. He played in nine games, totaling 44 carries for 136 yards while adding two receptions for just seven yards as a receiver.

Perhaps looking for a new opportunity and a fresh start, he then tried his luck in the transfer portal again. Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes got a chance to unlock him, but he missed the final eight games of this past season due to injury.

Price finished the 2025 season with 21 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns rushing.
